As long as the church reads Jews instead of Judas, it's good to discuss this subject.

Both the word "Jew" and the name "Judas" have the same stem: Judah, He that praises God. So linguistically it's no problem.

Our minister used to say: "Every Jew should become a Christian and every Christian a Jew", to which I replied: Every man should be a Judas.

Fortunately (or should I say: mercifully?) it is not "the church" that reads Jews for Judas.

How about people like me from the other side of the big fish pond?
