Verkoop boek over de kinderdoop !

Ik heb al verschillende boeken gelezen over de kinderdoop, en ben zoals jullie wel weten een overtuigde credo-doper, ofwel exclusief doop na bekering.

Nu heb ik door een vergissing een nieuw boek binnen gekregen waarin de kinderdoop wordt verdedigd. Dit boek is net uit, en het is van George Ella : The covenant of grace and christian baptism (313 pagina's).

George Ella heeft, heeft al vele boeken geschreven mn. biografieeen over: William Cowper, Willliam Huntingtion, John Gill, Toplady, Henry Bullinger en nog meer.

Ondanks dat hij een kinderdoper is, is hij voor mij een van de meest favourite hedendaagse schrijvers.

Omdat ik al zoveel boeken over de kinderdoop heb gelezen, en ik beperkt ben in mijn tijd en het uitkiezen van boeken die mijn prioriteit hebben, wil ik graag dit boek verkopen. Dit boek zou in de boekhandel 20 eur. kosten, maar wil deze verkopen voor 12,50 eur.

Het volgende word er beschreven rondom dit boek:

" Baptist denominations have become leaders, and many christians have ceased to questiosn baptist dogma's in view of their obvious zeal. Yest modern baptist show little pan-biblical knowledge regarding their central initiation ceremony. This work demonstrates the great biblical doctrines expressed in New Testament baptism. It is also a refutation of the baptist based almost entirely on a selective use of pagan Greek. Baptist fail to see that Biblical vocabulary concerning baptism bears a specifically christian meaning not found in other ancient literature. New testament Greek words used for baptism must be studied primarily in conjuction with their biblical roots in Hebrew and Greek OT usage. Baptism here does not refer to "a bath of submergence" as baptist claim, but is a sign of cleasing where the mode is secondary. Indeed though words to do with strinkleing, pouring washing, washing dressing are used of Old Testament cleasing and New Testament baptism, words meaning to immerse, to sink or to submerge are nowhere found. Baptist secular linguistic claims are therefore groundless.
New Testament baptism is a continuing sign of the Abrahamic Covenant of Grace pionting to the righteouness which is by faith. It is for believers and their seed as taught in both testanments. THis so embracesses baptist that they deny the New Testament norm of household and family baptism and that believers children are under covenatal promises.
This book analyses the major occurences of words to do with baptism in the Greek and Hebrew Biblical texts in the light of covenant of grace and the promises to believers and their family dependents. Baptist claim that the early church only knew immersion and adult baptism are refuted on written and archaeological evidence. From the 3e centirary onwards, immersion and adult baptism only were indeed practised superstitiously by some enthusiast because of the idea that immersion washed away all sin. These candidates postponed their baptism until after they hath sown their wild oats, fearing that post-baptismal sins were beyond repentance. Such are the baptist historical roots..."

Vanuit welke grond ben jij dan eigenlijk voor de doop na bekering?

Niet om mij te overtuigen maar gewoon uit interesse.
